Is S. Robideau Construction licensed and insured?
Yes. Our Minnesota Contractor License number is 20130818 and we are fully insured.
Do you work with insurance claims?
Yes. That is all we do. We work with all insurance companies to estimate, document and coordinate your claim. With over a decade of experience in the restoration field and a preferred vendor for numerous insurance companies you can rest assured of being in good hands.
Will S. Robideau handle all of my restoration repairs or only parts of it?
We will handle all your repairs from start to finish. S. Robideau is a full service restoration company so from the initial board up to your move in date you will see our employees.
Does S. Robideau deal with all my stuff (personal property) in my home?
Yes. S. Robideau will inventory all your personal property, pack up, restore and / or clean, store in our climate controlled warehouse and return upon completion of your repaired property.
Will I have access to my belongings while they are in storage?
Yes. With advance notice we can schedule time for a S. Robideau representative to meet with you and provide access to your requested items.
The Fire Department recommended that our home be boarded up. Is this something that S. Robideau can do?
Yes. S. Robideau will be on your site with two hours or less from the initial call to board up broken windows and doors, provide temporary demo and shoring to provide a safe structure, and/or tarp your roof to create a weather tight envelope. Our goal on a board up is to provide fast service to secure and prevent further damage to your home.
How long will my restoration project take?
All fires are unique in size, construction complexity, and severity. S. Robideau is very aggressive in its time lines for returning clients to a restored home. Please speak with your S. Robideau representative to give you a written schedule and time line on your project.
Have you ever worked on a project like mine?
Every project is unique in itself and your home can be more than simply where you sleep at night. Rest assured S. Robideau has worked on 1000’s of restoration projects both large and small. It is extremely likely that we have worked on a project similar to yours and we will give it the attention and detail that we would our very own.
I received the insurance payment and the mortgage company’s name is included. What should I do?
We understand the process and, if you request, we will contact your mortgage company and provide them with the necessary claim documentation so they can process the insurance payment. We’re happy to work with you or on your behalf through the mortgage endorsement process.

Storm Damage
S. Robideau Construction replaced our skylights, repaired our roof, did siding repair and painting, and they also put new gutter on our home. S. Robideau did a very good job. They communicated well with us and they were very prompt. They were very responsive when we first called them to have them come out and look at our home. They did a wonderful job on our home and we would use them again in the future.
